On Wednesday, July 15th, 2015, there was a presentation and opening of proposals and declaration of winners of the First Call of Round 1 for the awarding of Production Sharing Contracts for the Exploration and Extraction of Hydrocarbons in shallow waters took place.
As a result of such event:
2 contractual areas were awarded to the consortium formed by Sierra Oil & Gas, S. de R.L. de C.V., Talos Energy LLC and Premier Oil PLC;
8 contractual areas were declared deserted for not having received any bid proposals; and
4 contractual areas were declared deserted for having received economic bid proposals that were lower than the minimum values established by the Ministry of Treasury and Public Credit for the bidding variables.
