On January 24th, 2017, the National Agency of Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection of the Hydrocarbons Sector (“ASEA”) published in the Federal Official Gazette the General Administrative Provisions that set forth the Guidelines for carrying out External Audits to the operation and performance of the Industrial Safety, Operational Safety and Environmental Protection Systems applicable to the activities of the Hydrocarbons Sector (the “DACG”).
These DACGs outline the principles and procedures, as well as the formats that must be used for conducting external audits to the Administration System, by an authorized third party.
In this sense, we inform you that audits must be carried out at least once every two years and, as a result of these, Regulated Entities must form an Attention Plan to respond to the Findings derived from the audit.
