On July 27th, 2015, Brazilian Ports Secretariat ("SEP") published, on Official Gazette, two ordinances (Ordinance No. 281/2015 and Ordinance No. 282/2015) related to the opening of the Public Hearing and Public Consultation to review the polygonal from Ports of Paranaguá and Antonina, both of them located in Paraná State.
The polygonal refers to port facilities areas, infrastructure of protection and port access through water transportation. Those reviews are, in fact, adjustments on ports surroundings. As a result of these reviews, Brazilian Government estimates the possibility of additional investments of approximately R$ 2 billion.
SEP will realize Public Hearing on August 27th, 2015 to Antonina' Port, and on August 28th, 2015 to Paranaguá' Port. Interested parties in participating on the Public Consultation will have until September 24th, 2015 to send their contributions to the following addresses:
