Recently, the law of Specific Performance relating to Property
Sales of 2017 has entered into force and has amended article 12 of
the Law of 2011 and 2012 on the same matter, granting the
jurisdiction to the Court to permit the filing of a contract or an
action to be brought for specific performance, even if the
prescribed period of time has elapsed, as per the provisions of the
said law, provided that the Court considers that it is just and
reasonable to do so for the protection of the purchaser.
