IC Power Refinances A Loan Granted To Central Cardones

Chilean firm Carey has helped Israeli electricity generation
company IC Power obtain a loan from Santander.
Santander hired Garrigues (Chile) for the transaction.
The loan refinances a previous credit line supplied by Banco
Crédito e Inversiones and Itaú Corpbanca in 2011 to
IC Power's controlled power plant Central Cardones, which is
located in Copiapó, Northern part of the country, and has a
153-megawatt installed capacity.
Both banks transferred their credits to Santander.
The value of the deal, signed on 28 August, was not
disclosed.
