A series of reforms aimed at regulating the construction field have recently been introduced, creating new challenges for all involved in the industry. In this workshop we give a legal and practical review of some of the most recent developments in the construction sector. Among the topics discussed will be the licensing of contractors, construction site management practices, requisite approvals from the BCA, and third-party safety measures. We will also highlight notable decisions from the recently established Building and Construction Tribunal.
