4 December 2019 - ARIS (A Really Inspiring Space) Accelerator is organising its annual event, Demo Day, on Thursday 12 December 2019 at 6:00 pm at its premises (Nicolaou Pentadromos Centre), in the heart of Limassol, to celebrate the achievements of its start-up companies.

ARIS is a start-up accelerator, founded by Deloitte and the Bank of Cyprus, with the sole purpose of offering entrepreneurs with the structure, mentorship and network needed to launch successful business ventures. ARIS is a home for innovation that provides the space, support, inspiration and community needed for a strong and vibrant innovation culture. It's a space that has been specifically designed to assist start-ups transform innovative ideas into successful business ventures.

Guest speaker, Andy Grey, a Chartered Physicist and founder of two companies, will be talking about innovation opportunities in the space-tech sector stemming out of data science. Grey is an engineer in the space industry who, alongside his other businesses, currently acts as an advisor to the UK Space Agency, the European Commission and London's financial sector.

Eliza Loucaidou, Director at the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre of Deloitte and ARIS Manager, will be presenting the ARIS programme, while the Centre's resident start-ups will be pitching during the event. "Demo Day provides the opportunity to learn more about ARIS and most importantly our resident start-ups. It is an excellent opportunity for investors, accelerators, corporates, media, and other stakeholders to meet and discuss important matters related to the start-up ecosystem. Our ambition for ARIS is to be a meeting point between corporates and start-ups in the Cypriot ecosystem", said Loucaidou. Innovopolis, Irerobot, Fundscribe, WATTS, EkoNest, Oreen are amongst ARIS' start-ups that will be pitching on the day.
