The global firm Jones Day announces that Jennifer (Jenn) Weizenecker, a Business & Tort Litigation associate based in the Firm's Atlanta Office, was named a recipient of the Justice Robert Benham Award for Community Service.

Established in 1998 in partnership with the State Bar of Georgia, the Justice Robert Benham Award honors lawyers and judges from Georgia's 10 judicial districts who have made significant contributions to their communities and demonstrate the positive contributions of members of the Bar beyond their legal or official work.

Ms. Weizenecker serves on the UNICEF USA Southeast Regional Board and the UNICEF Next Generation Atlanta Steering Committee. She is also a visiting professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, or Georgia Tech, where she teaches judicial process and a freshman pre-law class.

Ms. Weizenecker's client work at Jones Day focuses on product liability defense and complex civil litigation in both federal and state courts. She has experience in many aspects of civil litigation, including conducting direct and cross-examinations of expert and fact witnesses at trial, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and preparing expert witnesses.

"Jenn exemplifies the values Jones Day holds as a law firm, whether it involves delivering exceptional client service or contributing her time and energy to worthy initiatives and organizations in the Atlanta area," said Stephanie Parker, who co-leads Jones Day's global Business & Tort Litigation Practice. "Her willingness to take leadership roles in the community, her demonstrated commitment to the region, and her generosity of spirit make her a very deserving recipient of the Justice Robert Benham Award, and I am proud that she is representing Jones Day and joining the award's very impressive roster of recipients."
