Marcela Tudose, Ben Fraser, Brooke Lewis and Gayoung McLellan have graduated from Ogier's English Solicitor training programme to join the firm as Associates.

Marcela, Ben, Brooke and Gayoung have successfully completed the two-year training scheme programme, which is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The scheme sees trainees take up to four 'seats' around different areas of the firm, as well as a Professional Skills Course and an experiential litigation course that includes a mock trial at the Magistrate's Court.

  • Marcela Tudose has joined as an Associate in the Jersey Corporate team
  • Ben Fraser has joined as an Associate in the Jersey Banking team
  • Brooke Lewis has joined as an Associate in the Jersey Investment Funds team
  • Gayoung McLellan has joined as an Associate on secondment in the Jersey Real Estate Services team

Ogier is one of only two Channel Island firms to have invested in a training scheme regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Graduates of the scheme include partner Richard Daggett and a number of senior lawyers in the firm.

Partner Richard Daggett, who leads the training scheme, said: "We are delighted to celebrate the success of Marcela, Ben, Brooke and Gayoung and welcome them to their new role as Associates.

"Qualifying as a solicitor is a landmark in anyone's legal career and our investment in supporting trainees through a dedicated development programme equivalent to those run by City firms is something that we take significant pride in."
