The Government approved the outline of a Public Health Insurance Act imposing a maximum payment of Ke 1,600 for use of out-patient specialist services as of 1999. The amendment intends to decrease the health insurance premium from 13.5% to 13.0% as of January 1999 and 12.5% as of January 2000.
