Procedimento de Aceleração de Patentes (PPH) no Uruguai

A oficina Uruguaia de Patentes (DNPI) adotará a
partir do mês de outubro de 2016 um novo procedimento para
solicitar o Exame Acelerado de Patentes (Patent Prosecution Highway
– PPH).
É um instrumento onde o solicitante de patente de
invenção ou modelo de utilidade, que tenha um exame
de patenteabilidade favorável à patente
correspondente, por parte de qualquer um dos países membros
do acordo PPH-PROSUR (Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Equador, Paraguai,
Peru e Colômbia), ou tem o relatório de busca e o
exame preliminar internacional emitidos pelos escritórios de
Propriedade Intelectual do Chile ou do Brasil, no marco do PCT,
poderá requerer a aceleração dos tramites de
solicitação de patentes para a mesma
invenção diante da Direção Nacional de
Propriedade Intelectual do Uruguai (DNPI).
