On October 14th, 2016, the National Hydrocarbons Commission published in the Federal Official Gazette the well drilling GUIDELINES.
These Guidelines contain the rules for form the nomenclature, identification and classification of wells, as well as formations and fields where they are located, the obligations of oil operators, and the requirements and criteria for granting well drilling authorizations, as well as the procedure, assumptions and information required for their modification.
