The Private Health Facilities Act 2007 (NSW) and the Private Health Facilities Regulations 2010 (NSW) commenced on 1 March 2010. All NSW private hospitals and day procedure centres must familiarise themselves with this new legislation as a priority. Note that this legislation, amongst other matters, introduces mandatory root cause analysis teams.
