There have been some significant changes to the Privacy Act that come into effect on 12 March 2014. Although the required amendments to your external facing privacy policy will probably be minimal, it is the internal requirements of your organisation that will need reviewing.
The changes to the Act will directly affect how your organisation deals with personal information, and what you need to review and establish for internal protocols to both avoid a potential privacy breach and also demonstrate your compliance with changes to the Privacy Act. This will require a review and update of your current practices.
