The Property Occupations Bill 2013 was passed by Parliament on 7 May 2014. Parliament did not make any substantial amendments to the Bill and we refer you to our previous article discussing the implications of the Bill. Our previous article can be found here.

The Bill is expected to come into effect later this year and aims to facilitate the repeal and split of the Property Agents and Motor Dealers Act 1994 (PAMDA) into four separate Acts to simplify and reduce the level of red tape and regulation which PAMDA currently imposes on the property industry.
