KordaMentha Executive Director of Forensic, Craig Macaulay, shared his insights on controversial social media posts and online privacy with ABC News 24 recently.

A number of prominent political careers have come to a dramatic end in recent weeks through controversial social media posts and articles. Craig was invited on ABC TV to share his thoughts on our lax attitude towards what we post online and the way that data can be used to create profiles and gain insights on individuals, as was seen only recently with the Cambridge Analytica scandal.

As Craig pointed out: "People need to understand the profile that is being created about them online. I think if people really understood what can be done with that data there would be a very different attitude to what they put on social media."
