The Principals of the Davies Collison Cave, Davies Collison Cave Law and Davies Collison Cave Singapore are pleased to announce a number of promotions that took effect on 1 July 2019.

Principals

DCC is delighted to welcome four new Principals :

  1. Sally Foreman
  2. Ken Simpson
  3. Grant Stonier
  4. Tania Uren

Sally Foreman advises on all aspects of trade marks including, selection, searching, prosecution, opposition and infringement in Australia and internationally and advises on trade mark issues under the Australian Consumer Law and passing off. Sally has a particular expertise in protecting brands online, including domain name disputes.

Ken Simpson is a Singapore, Australia and NZ patent attorney who specialises in software and computer technology, with particular expertise in FinTech and bioinformatics. His experience also extends to a wide variety of other technologies including semiconductors, anti-counterfeiting technology, additive manufacturing, and optics.

Grant Stonier specialises in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications for a broad spectrum of engineering technologies. Grant's technical background is in aerospace, mechanical and systems engineering, and he also has experience in a variety of other areas including medical, robotics, mining, and computer technologies. A significant portion of Grant’s work involves assisting local clients to obtain protection for their inventions, and advising them on patentability, patent infringement and validity.

Tania Uren specialises in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a range of biotechnology-related areas, including immunotherapy, microbiology, vaccines, regenerative medicine, molecular biology, and medical diagnostics. Tania also advises her clients on patent validity, infringement and contentious matters, and provides strategic advice in relation to their patent portfolios.

Managing Associates and Senior Associates

We are also pleased to announce the elevation of two Managing Associates Aaron Yates and Fiona Galbraith and five new Senior Associates: Nigel Pereira; Jillian Lim; Kian Hoe Khoo; Nicholas Butera and Felicity Dalle Nogare
