On October 01, 2019, two notices of public hearings of the Brazilian National Agency of Waterway Transportation (ANTAQ) were published.

  • Public Hearing No. 12/2019 will be held on November 5, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. in the auditorium of ANTAQ's headquarters. The purpose of this hearing is to obtain comments on the proposal to amend Normative Resolution No. 01-ANTAQ/2015 to regulate the time charter of foreign vessels used in substitution for vessels with scheduled compulsory docking.

    Comments can be sent electronically to ANTAQ from October 9, 2019, through November 22, 2019.
  • Public Hearing No. 13/2019 will be held on November 11, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. in the auditorium of ANTAQ's headquarters. The purpose of this hearing is to obtain comments on the proposal to amend Normative Resolution No. 01-ANTAQ/2015 and Resolution No. 1,811-ANTAQ/2010, to regulate the charter of vessels performing maritime support navigation by parties that are not Brazilian Shipping Companies (EBNs).

    Comments can be sent electronically to ANTAQ from October 9, 2019, through November 22, 2019.
