Brazil Observes Council Of Europe's Convention 108 Meeting

On October 18, the Council of Europe announced that Brazil joined the Committee of
Convention 108 as an observer. Convention 108 requires signatories
to take the necessary steps in their domestic legislation to
implement the data protection principles of the Convention.
Observers are countries that have not yet become members of the
Convention.
