July 4, 2018 – Quebec has announced its new declaration of interest system for economic immigration will come into force with effect on August 2, 2018.
The same date will also see the coming into force of higher investment requirements under the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program.
The new policies were announced on Twitter by Provincial Immigration Minister David Heurtel on Tuesday July 3rd. They are expected to be passed shortly, by Minister Order.
