March 6, 2019 – Canada immigration authorities have conducted the first Express Entry draw of March, issuing Invitations to Apply to 3,350 skilled worker candidates.

The March 6 draw saw the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System drop by three points to 454 compared to the previous draw. The last two draws have seen the first minimum CRS scores above 450 since June 2018.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has now issued ITAs to 17,850 candidates in 2019.

Canada has a high-skilled immigration intake target of 81,400 for 2019, after breaking the record for annual Express Entry ITAs in 2018 with 89,800.

This was the fifth round of invitations under Express Entry in 2019 and 112th overall.
