The Ministry of Labour announced a safety inspection blitz that will run from July 15 to August 30, 2019. During this period, targeted inspections will be undertaken in workplaces operating in the retail, restaurant, food, beverage, hospitality, and recreational services sectors. Inspections will reportedly be focused on the safety of new workers and summer students.
