Appleby has been recognised in the Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards as a nominee for "Law Firm of the Year – Caribbean". The awards, which are in their seventh year, were established to highlight the excellence of advisors and mangers in the major international financial centres.

This nomination continues a string of success for Appleby. In June they had eight lawyers from across their global practice included on the Citywealth List of 'Leading Lawyers' and two lawyers were included in Legal Week's Private Client Global Elite, which profiles 200 top trust and estate legal practitioners – including private client lawyers, tax lawyers, litigators and barristers.

Speaking on the announcement, Carlos de Serpa Pimentel, Global Head of Appleby's Private Client & Trust group commented; "Being recognised for the work we undertake in the Caribbean by Citywealth, is a huge testament to the dedication and commitment of our team to deliver the best possible results for our clients. We are incredibly proud of this recognition and our achievements over the past year."

Voting closes on 1st December and can be completed online at https://www.citywealthmag.com/awards/ifc-awards/shortlist. The winners are announced at an awards evening which takes place on 25 January in London.
