REGISTRATION OF INTERNATIONAL TRUSTS UNDER THE WESTERN SAMOA INTERNATIONAL TRUSTS ACT 1987
The International Trust Act 1987 provides for registration of international trusts in Western Samoa and for the exemption of the trustee and beneficiaries from any taxation, duty or exchange control. The applicable law is English common law and equity. Registration is straight forward with no requirement to file the trust document with the Registrar. All information pertaining to international trusts is confidential and subject to secrecy provisions.
