The deadline for multinational enterprise groups with a
consolidated annual turnover exceeding EUR 750 million to submit
country by country reports for 2016 was 20 October 2017. It appears
that some companies which are required to submit reports have been
unable to do so because they cannot be registered with the
government's "Ariadne" portal, through which reports
have to be submitted, because they are not registered with the
Registrar of Companies.
The Tax Department has issued advice to such companies to
contact its offices for assistance.
The content of this article is intended to provide a general
guide to the subject matter. Specialist advice should be sought
about your specific circumstances.
