Draft bill (Referententwurf) on the further implementation of the EU Prospectus Ordinance and on the amendment of financial market laws published

The German Ministry of Finance published a Draft bill (Referententwurf) on the further implementation of the EU Prospectus Ordinance and on the amendment of financial market laws. The main purpose of the draft bill (Referententwurf) is to further implement the mandatory provisions of the EU Prospectus Ordinance, which will become directly applicable as of 21 July 2019. In particular, it regulates the competent authority - as previously the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority - and its supervisory and sanction powers as well as prospectus liability.
