Over thirty members of the prestigious Geneva Association - an international body for the study of insurance economics - recently attended a successful conference in Guernsey.
Steve Butterworth, Director of Insurance, said: "The Commission was pleased that such an important organisation elected to visit Guernsey and we were delighted that there were members from the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, the Netherlands, Portugal, Scandinavia, Spain, Switzerland, the USA and Bermuda.
The Association was founded in Paris in 1971 and held its constitutive assembly in the same city in 1973.
