All major qualifications available from Guernsey's Finance Training Agency have been listed, along with entry requirements and course contents, in the new Financial Qualifications Guide produced by the agency at the request of local training officers.
Dick Taylor, FTA Director, said: 'This is an important initiative. At £20 per copy the guide is a valuable source of information. Because it is in loose-leaf format it can be easily updated.'
Mr Taylor has also welcomed tow recent donations. Deutsche Morgan Grenfell (C.I.) Limited has contributed £10,000 to improve support for students taking the new ACIB/BSc in Financial Services plus a further £1,500 per year for the next five years for up-dating the library and IT materials.
A second donation of £1,000 has come from the local branch of STEP (Society of Trustees and Estate Practitioners) to provide books for students taking courses leading to trust sector qualifications.
