OUR EFFORTS TO CONTAIN THE SPREAD OF COVID-19

The Covid-19 pandemic is above all a human and social crisis. In an attempt to contain its spread and mitigate its effects we need to respond swiftly and effectively to an evolving situation and thread in uncharted territory. It will entail changes in the way we go about our daily routines.

At Camilleri Preziosi we have taken steps to ensure that we will make our own, limited, contribution to stopping the spread of the virus and mitigating its impact. As of 13 March we have adopted remote working protocols in an effort to safeguard the health and safety of all our members of staff, and clients, which remains our main priority. This is an extraordinary measure which we have had to take to mitigate the effects of an extraordinary situation. Accordingly, our Valletta office will remain closed until such time as the situation normalizes and our staff and clients are not exposed to unnecessary risk.

We are not out of office. Our lawyers and support staff remain fully committed to servicing our clients – it is simply our delivery channels that will change temporarily. Our availability and consistency of service will remain unaffected. Although we have suspended, until further notice, the practice of face-to-face meetings, our lawyers may still be contacted on email and through dedicated operators manning our general phoneline (+356 2123 8989), as well as on mobile and through video conferencing facilities. We have designed, tested and applied our systems and processes to ensure a seamless transition from office-based work to remote work protocols to enable us to continue our operations as smoothly as possible.
