Three women from the Jersey Finance team are being recognised by Citywealth - wealth professional media and awards services - in their 2018 awards and leaders list.

Louise Ashworth, Head of Marketing, Lisa Springate, soon to be Head of Technical, are both shortlisted for Citywealth's 2018 Powerwomen Awards and Amy Bryant, Deputy CEO, will feature on the IFC Powerwomen Top 200 list which honours the most powerful women in the private wealth sector across International Financial Centres.

On this hat-trick of Citywealth nominations, Geoff Cook says:

"I'm proud to see three of our Jersey Finance team recognised in this way. Our focus is on the financial services industry in Jersey, so for individuals to be recognised in these awards and on the Powerwomen list is very special.

"It's also encouraging to see Jersey-based women and firms on the shortlist for the awards. Although Jersey is a small jurisdiction, we are well represented in these awards.

"I'd encourage the industry to participate in the Powerwomen 2018 awards by casting a vote for their winner online."

Winners of a Powerwomen Award are voted for by the public. If you work in the industry, you cannot vote for someone in your own firm. Voting is now open and closes on 15 January 2018. Cast your vote on the Citywealth website.

In its sixth year, the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards programme champions women in the wealth sector and highlights the female leaders of today and tomorrow.

Louise Ashworth is shortlisted for the 2018 Citywealth's Powerwomen Awards in the 'Woman Of The Year – Business Services' category. Louise has headed up the marketing team at Jersey Finance since 2013, which has seen her lead a positive transformation of Jersey Finance's efforts to promote our island's financial services industry.

Lisa Springate from Bedell Cristin's Jersey office will join Jersey Finance as Head of Technical in November 2017. Lisa is shortlisted in the 'Woman of Year, Leadership (Professional Services)' - category.
