The Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) has announced
the extension of the deadline for filing personal income tax
returns by 2 months from 31st of March to 31st of May 2020.
This is in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions on
movement imposed by the Lagos state government to contain the
spread of the virus.
The extension is applicable to all individuals including
employees and self employed persons.
