The Government of Anguilla is pleased to announce that on June 3rd and 4th 1999 it will be launching, in cooperation with the Anguilla Financial Services Association - AFSA, its computerised company registration system, ACORN
The ACORN launch will include a detailed presentation of the system and talks by industry representatives and Government officials on the offshore industry within Anguilla as well as discussion on the opportunities offered by the Jurisdiction. The launch will also include a Government- hosted and an AFSA - hosted evening reception for all attendees.
The ACORN system demands a high standard of due diligence and therefore in conjunction with the launch, KPMG will be holding a one day workshop on the subject of white collar crime, due diligence and compliance to be held on the first full day of the launch event ie the 3rd June. The workshop will be conducted by senior representatives of KPMG Forensic Group from Toronto, Canada.
ACORN is an interactive system that facilitates instantaneous incorporation of various types of corporate entities available under Anguilla's legislation and the filing of all registry documents 24 hours a day, 365 days a week from anywhere in the world.
The ACORN system is now fully operational and allows overseas agents, who are professionals or professional firms in the business of incorporating companies offshore on behalf of clients, to have direct access to the system. Further details are available on Click Contact Link
