The State Duma deputies adopted draft law No. 398292-7 in the third reading. The draft law clarifies the provisions of Federal Law No. 115-FZ on Concession Agreements and Federal Law No. 224-FZ on Public-Private Partnership... on agricultural properties.
The draft law lifts the last substantial restrictions for implementing PPP projects in agribusiness.
In particular, the draft law proposes to eliminate the reference to the need to approve a list of agricultural properties. In order to implement a PPP project it will now be sufficient that the property meets the criteria previously approved by the Russian Government.
