To print this article, all you need is to be registered or login on Mondaq.com.
Background
The UK has received nearly £100bn in foreign direct
investment into its financial services (FS) industry since 2007. As
the UK continues to attract new international FS institutions to
its shores, this new guide helps new entrants quickly get to grips
with the steps to establishing their business in the UK.
Designed for any FS institution thinking of coming to the UK,
the guide covers the essential, practical steps to entering the UK
including regulatory approvals, company structuring, tax
management, location and premises, and human capital
considerations.
The guide has been produced by Deloitte, in association with UK
Trade & Investment and TheCityUK. It will be disseminated in
British embassies, high commissions and consulates around the
globe, thanks to the involvement of our project partners, UK Trade
& Investment. The representative body for the financial and
related professional services in the UK, TheCityUK is also a
project partner.
