Have you ever wondered how Easter could be made even more exciting? Well, look no further than US patent application US2009/0025590, in which the inventor discovered "that the family fun of the myth of the Easter Bunny may be further enhanced by creating additional evidence that the Easter Bunny has visited, namely by creating tracks on a ground surface that simulate Easter Bunny Tracks". Of course, make sure you've also hidden eggs or you could end up with some very disappointed children.

You can't have Easter without eggs, be they chocolate or real. With so many eggs around at this time of the year do you ever get fed up of separating egg yolks from egg whites? Luckily, WO/2019/060973 is on hand to help out, with an "arrangement for a machine for breaking eggs and separating the egg yolk and the egg white". "[T]he egg yolk (G) and egg white (CL) are separated by means of compartment (11), which conducts the egg yolk (G) and egg white (CL) to a second tapered compartment (12), such that in the last tapered compartment (12), which is provided with an open slit (13), the egg white (CL) drains through said slit, while the egg yolk (G) follows the regular flow to another container". Neat!

The best part of Easter is arguably the Easter egg hunt, but sometimes all the excitement is over a little too quickly. Well, take a look at US2019/0054368 for a way to extend the fun. This patent application describes an Easter egg game device and an associated method of play, where participants roll their Easter eggs down the ramp shown in the Figure and try to hit other Easter eggs for points. Warning! Easter eggs may be harmed in the use of this invention.

Happy (belated) Easter!
