We are delighted to announce that, following a vote from our global team of employees, we will be supporting the topic of Environment and Sustainability as our global charitable theme.
The theme reaffirms our commitment to environmental and sustainable causes, a commitment that recently saw us become a proud member of the Global Impact Investor Network (GIIN).
On a jurisdictional level, we will be working with and supporting local partner charities in line with the global theme, as elected by employees in each of our jurisdictions. Together with the charities, we will be providing volunteering opportunities for employees, dedicating our fundraising proceeds to each charity, whilst evaluating how we can be more sustainable both in and outside of the workplace.

We are also pleased to be able to share the progress of our Mauritius office's charitable endeavour, funding the Petrin Reforestation Project in the Black River Gorges National Park in Mauritius. With the help of the NGO, Forena, the aim of the program is to:
- Promote sustainable development
- Promote sustainable livelihood practices
- Promote the conservation and re-introduction of terrestrial and marine endemic and native biodiversity
- Mitigate climate change
Since 2016, our Mauritius office has funded the reforestation of a brilliant seven hectares of land in Petrin. As part of this initiative, earlier in July our Mauritius office and Forena enabled 38 students aged between 10 years to 18 years of "Association Ensam" to take part in an informative tree planting project. Prompting many of the students to discover a liking for nature, some of the students are even thinking about the possibility to build a career in that field.
