The Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR) comes into force for all FCA-authorised firms on 9 December this year. Many firms are dedicating the next two months to implementation. On its face SMCR seems fairly simple but, as is often the case, the devil is in the detail and in particular numerous different changes are needed to a range of internal policies and procedures.

Dentons has a track record of helping firms successfully implement SMCR. As well as providing bespoke advice, we have also distilled some of this knowledge into an SMCR Toolkit to help firms with implementation in a compliant, cost-effective way. The Toolkit includes a project plan, checklists and template documents such as revisions to employment contracts and internal policies. It has been designed so firms only pay for the particular document(s) they want, with each item priced separately.

For more information on the Toolkit and the prices of particular items click here and click here to view our project plan and checklist. For other information on SMCR, including access to our practical SMCR guide, see our SMCR webpage.
