On Friday, a U.S. District Judge ruled in favor of the
production companies who produced the 2014 film,Walk of
Shame, as well as lead star Elizabeth Banks in a lawsuit
alleging the script of the film was stolen.
The plaintiff alleged that the defendants used the screenplay
of Darci's Walk of Shame in the making of
the film, Walk of Shame. Although the judge
acknowledges that there are similarities between the two works, the
story that each respective film tells is a fundamentally different
story.
Fox Rothschild's David Aronoff was the lead attorney for the
defendants.
