On November 16, the EDPB adopted draft Guidelines on the territorial scope of
the GDPR and further clarification on the application of the GDPR
in various situations, particularly the designation of a
representative where the data controller or processor is
established outside of the European Union. The Guidelines will be
subject to a public consultation.
