Scott Weston was featured in The Boombox article, "Chris Brown Bashes Mothers Who Use Children for 'Meal Tickets'." Full text can be found in the August 7, 2015, issue, but a synopsis is below.

Singer Chris Brown is in an ongoing custody and child support battle with Nia Guzman, his daughter's mother. Brown publicly addressed the situation using Twitter, claiming Guzman is using his daughter to get more money. If she wins, Brown will be paying $15,000 a month in child support.

Noted family lawyer Scott Weston believes that Guzman may get what she wants. He told The Boombox, "Then the court is going to look at this rule; the child is entitled to live a lifestyle that is in accordance with both parents. The questions would arise: Mr. Brown, let's see what kind of lifestyle this child, albeit 1 [years old], is living? How big is your home? How much would it cost to rent your home? Do you have household help? How much are you paying for that help? Where are you shopping for her clothes? Those kind of things," he noted.
