The U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued interim rules to implement the preferential tariff treatment and other customs-related provisions of the United States - Singapore Free Trade Agreement, entered into by the United States and the Republic of Singapore.

These interim rules relate to rules of origin, customs administration and operations under the FTA and, in particular, affect trade in textile and apparel goods, and trade in goods under the FTA's Integrated Sourcing Initiative. Comments to these interim rules are to be submitted by 10 August 2007.
