"A View from Washington of President Trump's First 60 Days," the inaugural segment of our value-based health care teleconference series, was hosted by Thomas Bulleit, who heads the Ropes & Gray health care practice in the Washington, D.C. office, and Adrianne Ortega, a senior associate in the firm's health care group practicing in the Boston office.

The only certain effect that the Trump Administration will have on health care in America is that the Congress will pass, and the President will sign into law, a bill that has the word "repeal" prominently featured. Everything about what that bill will accomplish is almost completely uncertain. There are many indicators, however, that the movement towards value-based healthcare that began before, but accelerated under, the Affordable Care Act will continue in the same general direction, with maybe a few more detours and "yield" signs along the way.
