CHARLESTON, S.C.—The Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Life Sciences sector is an area of focus for Womble Bond Dickinson.

With that in mind, Womble lawyers Keith Munson and Stephanie Yarbrough attended the SC BIO Annual Conference, held Oct. 24-26 in Charleston. The event drew hundreds of decision-makers in the biotech and life sciences arenas, and featured speakers included South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster, BIO Global CEO Jim Greenwood and Nephron Pharmaceuticals CEO Lou Kennedy.

Marketing Manager Pam Champ also represented the firm at the event.

SC BIO is a statewide, not-for-profit, public/private life sciences industry association and economic development organization formed to actively promote, build, support, expand, and convene South Carolina's life sciences industry. The group is the official state affiliate of BIO—the U.S. Biotechnology Innovation Organization. Yarbrough recently was appointed to the SC BIO Board of Directors.
