On January 9, 2018, CMS is hosting a call to discuss its new low volume appeals settlement option. As previously reported, this option is available for certain Medicare fee-for-service providers, physicians, and other suppliers with fewer than 500 appeals pending at the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals and the Medicare Appeals Council at the Departmental Appeals Board. The call will cover provider/supplier eligibility and which pending appeals may be settled. The call will not include a question and answer session, but questions may be submitted in advance.
