US Financial Crimes Enforcement Network Names Kenneth Blanco Director

On November 8, 2017, the US Department of the Treasury announced
Kenneth A. Blanco as Director of FinCEN, a bureau in Treasury's
Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence. Blanco has 28 years
of prosecutorial service, most recently serving as acting assistant
attorney general of the US Department of Justice Criminal Division.
FinCEN has been led by an acting director since Jennifer Shasky
Calvery stepped down in May 2016. Blanco is expected to transition
to his new role within the next month.
