According to media reports, Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser announced that his office is investigating whether e-cigarette company JUUL Labs has engaged in deceptive advertising.

JUUL is now the subject of several state regulatory actions, including an investigation by the Connecticut Attorney General and a lawsuit by the North Carolina Attorney General.  A number of Democratic U.S. Senators have also launched an investigation into JUUL as well.

Last year, JUUL said that it will stop selling its fruit-flavored e-cigarette pods in retail stores and will discontinue its social media promotions, as well as take other steps aimed at stemming the dramatic increase in use of e-cigarettes by minors.
