ISDA issued a set of
legal guidelines for smart derivatives contracts in a paper
aimed at aiding the development of collateral management
technology. The paper is the third in a series on legal guidelines
for smart derivatives contracts. (The
first paper provided an introduction, and the
second paper highlighted the ISDA Master Agreement.) As previously
covered, ISDA is identifying contractual and documentation
issues relevant to market participants "implement[ing] new
platforms, products and solutions."
