Milbank’s Technology and Outsourcing partner Nicholas
Smith spoke on a panel of outsourcing industry service providers
and advisors at Deloitte’s 2019 Outsourcing Provider
Executive Forum at Deloitte University on September 19, 2019. The
two-day forum discussed the focus shifting from traditional
outsourcing to upfront transformation, automation and the way
organizations are recognizing that next-generation solutions can
revolutionize the way they do business, and that
“buying” capabilities in the marketplace is likely
faster and more scalable than developing capabilities internally.
The panel discussion at the event focused on emerging trends
in outsourcing contracts, including changes in pricing models and
approaches to increase the speed and cost-efficiency of technology
development programs.
