The Federal Reserve Board, FDIC and OCC joint final rule to
tailor the application of the agencies' capital and liquidity
rules to large U.S. banking organizations was published in the Federal Register. The final
rule is effective on December 31, 2019.
As previously covered, the joint final rule was
designed to align with a newly approved framework which creates four asset-
and risk-based levels of compliance requirements for banks having
$100 billion or more in total assets.
