A domain name freezing procedure will be introduced by the .lu
domain name registry from June 11, 2013.
In a nutshell, a claimant will be able to introduce a request to
DNS- LU (Restena) in order to freeze a .lu domain name. The
consequence of such request will consist of the impossibility for
the holder of the "freezed" domain name to trade it to
someone else and as such should encourage Parties to find a
settlement.
